This was Super Sunday when numerous Porsche people show up. I'd guess there were close to 50 Porsche's here today plus lots of others.  Here's a few that got my attention.  The Fiat Abarth was just waiting for someone with skill to jump in it and drive the crap out of it up on Angeles Crest Hwy !!!  What a HOOT that would be ! The  owner does take it up there.

That's  JNC Jim's beautiful black  JPS/Subi coupe. That ceramic black is just outstanding !  We had fun talking about all kinds of stuff.  Enjoy your day !!.......Bruce

Looks like a great day. I've missed the last couple Porsche C&C's here. The local PCA group meets the first Saturday of every month and we get about 75 or so Porsches and a smattering of other cars that show up. All cars are welcome even though it's hosted by the PCA group. Lot's of new Porsches and a few original 356 coupes. I hope to make the next one on August 6th.

I’m kind of bummed. After a few bad apples got the local C&C kicked out of the mall 15 miles away, they moved it 20 miles further away to south salt lake. Haven’t been since.

I’ve talked to Rick about trying to get one closer to home, but I assume the same thing will happen and no local business will want to deal with it.

I really need to go talk to the owner of Sceptre Motors. Their shop is in a former Sears Auto Center just across from a mall and would be an ideal sponsor.

@jncspyder  that 904 os one of ours.  That particular car is Chuck Beck's personal light weight race car,  fitted with an '07 GT3 motor, and is the only aluminum birdcage chassis Beck 904 ever built.  1500lbs and around 500hp  He recently sold it to a client of ours who secures movie cars for the studios and has bought MANY cars from us all.

It's SCARY fast and needs some sporting to be competitive but Chuck just couldn't bring himself to add weight in the nose since he spent so much time to take weight out... but it needs it.

@chines1   what a great car.... he trailered it to SUPERCAR SUNDAY since it is poster child for NOT street legal....it is utterly obnoxious "in an awesome way"....the owner is a car guy buddy of mine...he told me the BECK story..he's such a great guy...his cars are well known in film which we have seen in "ford vs ferrari"...we also share some same history with a notorious figure we have come to know as "dr jekyll & mr hyde"...but that's an entirely different oprah  haa!

So is Billie S. your friend, or is he a mutual friend of your friend?  I've never met him but we sold him several 904s, a 250GTO and a Spyder for the Ford v Ferrari movie.  I didn't have any speedsters available so I think he got those from JPS.

I'll never understand Chuck and his "cheater" builds.  The 904 is an animal in stock form and 300hp, but if you know Chuck you also know that means he needs it to be 20% lighter with 20% more hp for himself.  LOL
