Just putting it out there that this is still for sale if anyone is (or knows someone) looking. Since posting, the headliner was replaced, the battery is brand new and the frunk button has been fixed.

I've driven Chris' car and it's a nice ride folks.
That's a nice looking car, Chris. When I see where Cayman prices are lately I feel a little dopey for having taken on a coupe project. I hope you get every cent you're asking. It's definitely worth it.

Thank you. PCA said a while back that the Cayman S could be the new 912 for collectors in the future. For that reason and a few others, I honestly struggled with the decision to sell it. If I had the garage space for it, I might even keep it but I'm having a hard time even getting the Spyder out with the baby, I rarely drive the Cayman at all and I am reminded of how little I use it when other costs come due.
So, I'll be pretty pissed if the car goes for six-figures in the same time as the 912 but I'll also be pretty dead by that point. Now that Porsche has bumped the price of the Caymans in the lineup, this is an amazing car that is a ton of fun to drive for what I consider to be a very low price point.
If you wait long enough say 30 years it will go for 6 figures
I'm doubting I will make it 30 years. I just did a lab test for new life insurance and even though I haven't had a drink of alcohol in well over 5 months, I tested positive for acute alcoholism.
You're supposed to treat your body like a temple but for a long time, I treated it like @DannyP's garage.
Years ago I was driver trainer for True Value Distibution, occasionally some of the 77 drivers I supervised would test false positive for weed or sugar ..... The tests are far from accurate.

That’s excellent, Chris. It really is. Well done.
My apologies if I implied it but I haven't drank with any frequency for well over 9-10 years. I just did a lot when I was younger.
I guess when I do, it looks like it's more frequent than that. 😁
That's why the test results were weird.

Are you saying my garage has high mileage/ridden in the rain/put away wet?
