I have a black anodized CB Serpentine belt system, used for 1 season.  It is in good condition overall with some marking on the back side of the alternator pulley from removal.  These marks do not effect functionality.

Includes alt pulley, crank pulley, crank pulley bolt/washer, alternator nut and outside spacer, belt and tensioner.  It is only missing the shims for crank pulley and shims for alternator pulley (this install did not need them and they were not saved).

You can see what it looks like here:http://www.cbperformance.com/product-p/serpentinekit.htm

also be sure and read CB's notes on fitment/install and what style of stand it work with

I'd guess it's because the bearings on the Brazilian/Chinese alternators are not generally made by Timkin or SKS.

Like you, Stan, I am sick of junk being sold these days made by second rate workers in second rate countries.  Sometimes, the only way to get something worthwhile is to import it yourself from a country you trust, or search long and hard for something made here at home.  I really feel for manufacturers here who cannot get quality parts for their assemblies.
