Has anybody used these on an IM car with Weber 44IDFs? I just bought a pair and they look much taller than the current ones I have. I'm wondering if they'll fit in the engine compartment.

I had the same problem with the big beef and the 44's in my vs. I had to go to short K&Ns to be able to close the lid. I don't like using filters with less flow capabilities, but the only alternative is to toss the big beefs. Since I personally ported and polished the manifolds, I decided against the alternative. I have run the car with and without the short filters and could not detect any difference.
