With attendance dropping like the proverbial rock, and commitment to what has become a very small gathering waning, Stan and I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that CDIII should be rescheduled for a later date. Hopefully this doesn't inconvenience the remaining attendees too much.

Corn Daze will rise from the fields again, when the timing works for more of the group.

Everybody get healthy, the roads and the hospitality will be here for CDIII, whenever we get to it!

Well, I had a feeling.

After the wiper incident and the trans incident in Carlisle, I just wasn't ready for another long Speedster trip.  I got the car back on Wednesday. New trans is great.

On Friday, I noticed a small spot on the garage floor inboard of the LR wheel.  I couldn't identify the fluid, but I had put some oil in on Friday and spilled a little and thought maybe some oil had wicked across to the left side and dripped.

On Saturday, took her for a drive and parked her over a blue paper shop towel.

On Sunday morning, checked the towel and found it dry and thought I was home free.

Went for a drive on Sunday afternoon and immediately upon parking noticed a new spot.  This time quickly identified it as brake fluid.

Sunday was my anniversary, so it wasn't prudent to spend time diagnosing :-)

On Monday evening, I got under the car hoping to find a loose bleeder valve or loose brake line connection.  Unfortunately, no.  It appears the caliper is leaking.

It's still safe to drive, so will take her to our local Porsche guru Bill Demeter (buckwheat) on Saturday afternoon and will dig deeper.  Most likely, we'll need parts and my car will sit there awhile until we can get everything sorted.

I'm very glad that I didn't find this somewhere on the road between here and Peoria.

The weather is finally nice and hope that I can be on the road soon to enjoy our very short Michigan summer :-/
