Yep, Kirk paid me today for the engine that blew up. This check will help pay for the motor I'm having built for my Speedster so I'm posting this video as a celebration of this occasion. Enjoy!

For the poor, every day brings trouble, but for the happy heart, each day is a continual feast!

Will, I've been watching you work your way through a discouraging situation (and have been chatting with you privately, too).

It looks like you're on your way to a good resolution of a problem that could have been difficult if faced alone.

It's nice to see the level of support available here to folks in distress. It's one of the things SOC is especially good at.

Good luck with the new motor, but if there are more bumps in the road, you'll know where to turn.

Glad to hear it, Will. And for the rest of it- what Robert and Mitch said.

All I can say is-

LET THE MADNESS CONSUME YOU!!

And I realize that you already know a fair bit about the aircooled stuff, but anytime you need to know something don't be afraid to ask. If I can help, I will, and if I don't know it someone else will. There's quite the wealth of knowledge between all of us old farts; well, maybe between all those old farts and us younger guys... Al

That's a great video, especially good to watch in January and February (at least, for us northern residents).

I had the great pleasure of some hands-on advice from an older gent that was a panel beater for 60 years.  Ever notice the big globe at Universal Studio's in Orlando?

He built that, as well as many projects for Leno, etc.  He passed three years ago.

So, I have a working knowledge of the English Wheel, Beverly shears, shrinking & stretching metal, blah blah blah.

I an a 'glass guy and just wanted to learn some aluminum techniques.
