Funny commentary aside ('cuz I'm sitting on CenterLines as we speak), they're true-rivet wheels. Once upon a time, they were as common as Weld wheels are nowadays, and you could get them used for relatively short money.
Since they've been largely replaced in the everyman marketplace, they have a great 'retro' look to them. That and their reputation as solid and dependable aluminium alternatives to more traditional wheels is why I bought mine.

And I think you couldn't be "wronger" on the wheels. They redefine sexy/hot rod on a round car. They look like buttcheeks on a square-bodied muscle car -- that IS your true opinion, we know ...
