CERTIFICATE

Iam looking for a cmc certificate for a 1959 or a copy of any year so i know what to look for. Also the cmc plate I.D. and model. I have all transfer to owner papers. Tell me something!! Help!

If you mean the MSO (Manufacturer Statement of Origin), can't help you the BMV took mine when I got my title.

I have a CMC with the ID tag on the door. Is that what you want? I have the other stuff too, but do not remember a CMC Certificate???

Thanx jack, if so the papers that came from the factory that ties you into the i.d. plate.Do you have pictures? I'm trying to have all the papers for this car and I think i'm missing some. It has gone from hand to hand. I have letter heads,invoices on shipping, but is there a manufacture state of origin? (I need too see pics)

CMC/FiberFab kits DID come with the MSO. However, you may not need that to get it titled. As long as you have the receipt from the seller (Bill of Sale), you should be able to get it registered as a 19-whatever-year, based on the VW pan's serial number.

If that does not work, you could try to contact Street Beasts to get it re-issued. I would try the first option BEFORE attempting to follow up with them. My brother did it last summer with no problems at all, and his is based on the MetalCraft chassis, rather than the VW. They simply gave him a state-issued serial number, and that was it.

Mine had nothing, not even a serial number. So we had to get one put on after they searched the number found on the motor. Now it's listed as a 1957 Porsche.
