Hi, have a beautiful 1955 CMC for sale. Real looker, draws mucho attention. Lost my garage and don't want it to sit out this winter. Really solid car built by an Audi mechanic, 2004 if I remember right. Lots of extras, 1800cc dual Weber motor on a '69 block, mild Isky cam, Ansa, Oil filter, external cooler(not installed yet) on a 71' IRS chassis. 8000KM. great top and curtains, cover, chrome wheels. sorry no discs brakes, but stops well. Nice original looking interior with Hurst quick shift, vintage guages This is a great ready to go example that could be upgraded easily. Great car for the money...

$11,500.00 or best offer

Have not put it on Ebay or craigslist yet. Will let it sit here for a week or so...

Well, thanks for the posts. Bobby has contacted me and will be checking it out this week. Vince, used to like Harley's until the murderous, maniacal, steroid taking, bodybuilding, gun collecting, ex president of the San Jose Hell's Angels moved in next door... now they turm my stomach,, sorry...

The car is really very nice. Some of the Nor Cal guys have seen it and were favorably impressed...

I can load more pics if desired

Jay

OK, I want to apologize for and clarify my last posting. I did not mean to denigrate or insult anyone, including Vince, Harleys or even the Hells Angels... was a little too quick on the draw there. I just had a bad experience with one person. Vince that is really one very nice looking bike, would consider a trade but well....

As for the lights, I know '55s had bullet taillights but this is what came with the car and I actually prefer them to the originals as I had a '58 back in the day. I think the guage configuration is from a 55 and again, I would prefer the later green guages. I just think they are prettier. It came as a 55, that is all. Not really a big thing. All this could be changed by the new owner if he liked...

Anyway, thanks for looking

Jay
