i may have figured it out.  I had an intermittent failure until I changed the battery and then I had a hard failure.

A while back I made an impulse buy and purchased a small LED lamp with a magnetic base.  I’ve used it a couple of times (like when I was looking at my carb boil over issue).

Today, I found this lamp broken in half and laying right of the right manifold where the battery cables route.  I don’t know how it got left there.

I’m now thinking I have battery cable damage caused by this lamp that I finished off by tugging on the cables.

That’s my next point of investigation.

Lane, I ordered the one with automotive posts.  The battery was so bad it couldn't event light Bill's test light.  I put is on the charger and it was fully charged and it was measuring voltage on the voltmeter.  That's what through me off.  It just wasn't putting out any amperage.

Glad I ordered via Amazon Prime.  Free replacement coming and I don't have to send the old one back.

Hopefully, I'll be back in business Wednesday evening.
