Charity Car Show at Cal State Fullerton, in Nov.

Hello you SOC knuckleheads out there... My Son is in charge of a Charity Car Show for CSUF. He asked me if I could gather up 7 or so cars from the SOC and support the cause. It should be about 20 bucks a car and it's for St Jude Childrens Hospital. Their tentative show date is Sunday, Nov 7th. As more information becomes available I'll be sure to post it here... This should be a blast!

Hello Ken, as far as the sign-up goes, I'll be posting additional info later here... As it stands right now we wanna get some type of head count so we can capture ideal location at school for us as a club of SOC knuckleheads...

Jimbo is right bout check-in time, 9:00. In Parking Lot-A off Yorba Linda Blvd, on NORTH side of school. That's just south of Darren Silvester's Fire Station for those of you who remember that run!

Show time will be from 10:00am to 4:00pm... with Trophies awarded to top cars... There will be food, games, raffles, auctions and prizes..

FREE entrance for public

Entry fee for Cars = $15.00

All benefits go to Saint Jude Children Research hospital.

What up D-dog... I know you're a busy bee this week, and you had mentioned your better-halves party to me before.. No worries.. If you can pop by you know you are welcomed... We'd love to see that silver bullet tub of yours too! The good news is that this event will be held in their parking lot on the north side of the school so you can probably come in and park with us and then leave early if you have to.

WRT this Saturday car event;

08:30AM - meet at The Habit hamburger joint (on Nutwood Ave. exit - just West of the 57 Fwy).
08:50AM - Leave parking lot for car show.

Recommend bringing a folding chair.

Breakfast locations for early birds (before meeting up at The Habit);

1. Denny's on Nutwood Ave. (just East of the 57 Fwy).

2. Pepe's Mexican Restaurant just East of 57 Fwy (exit on Nutwood, turn Right/East to next street, Placentia Ave., turn Right/South to Pepe's).

3. Jack-In-The-Box (next door to Pepe's Restaurant).

Had a pretty chillaxing morning at the car show held at Cal State Fullerton. It was nice to see new SOC member, Ken Supin, and his daughter in his new JPS (very nice ride). Thanks, David, for setting this up!

You can never have a bad time just chilling and checking out cars... Thanks to Jimbo and Ken for helping out here at CSUF.. the boys (Dylans Frat) raised over $2,700.00 dollars for cancer research... Saw some pretty cool rides too. George's Austin healey 3000 won best stock car in show.. very cool ride...
