Cheap 550 Spyder Photo

A really good friend found this matted & framed photo of a 550 Spyder at TJ Maxx for $25 today and picked it up for me! If you have a TJ Maxx in your area and looking for a nice picture for your garage/man cave, you might want stop in and see if they have one. I thought it was a great find and just wanted to pass it along...

I love it.

It has the only gauges really necessary: Fuel, Oil Pressure and a Tach.

None of those silly speedometers for THAT car!

Incidentally, that 718 in the links above was sold in 2010 for $1.7 million, to . . . . . . Sterling Moss.

I went to my local TJ Maxx and sure enough, they had it and I bought it. It was $37 and comes in a very nice matted frame.

Actually . . . . its not a 550, it is a 718.

The two small gauges are oil pressure and oil temp. No gas gauge required. Somebody is going to get in trouble if they didn't put in enough gas to finish a race.

The 550 does have a 3-gauge cluster (with speedo) similar to speedster.
