He say list for this exhaust ceramic coated in grey , sattin black or satin silver is $995 I'll cut you guys in the club a better deal then list for sure.....

these are made for 356 engines, real 4 cam angines and of corse VW engines.

as for type 4, he says they most likely will not make one. Sorry type four guys. I did talk to him about making one off type 4 systems and he says that is possible but costly....

Well damn, I just bought a Sidewinder and now he comes out with this!

I saw similar exhaust on JPS Spyder that he was building also from A-1. I think since the engine is mounted the other way around the exhaust manifold is bent differently so that it still go out to the back. Very cool. He did not fire the engine so I don't know how loud it is.

Ok, I talked to A1 and I can knock $100 off per header system on these headers. So for a limitted time I can sell these for $895 in your choise of three ceramic coat colors. Black dark grey or silver Please understand that these are said to be the original colors and at this time they are not making them in stainless or raw.

Ok guys here is the skinny:

Stainless tips....Sorry but no. The reason being is that they are made to look exactly like the original 4 cam exhaust

Tube size.....1 5/8 this is a great across the road size as it does well on 1776 thru 2276 with no issues and gives great performance.

Wieght.....It weighs in around the same as a standard header system, maybe a pound or two more.

Yes those are heater boxes....

For my 1776 Tiger suggested and I bought 1 1/2" tubing. I also bought 1 1/2" heater boxes from him.

People contemplating a purchase may want to search for the chart posted recently showing different tubing diameters for different engine displacements.

Pictures please and maybe a video ? Looks loud and free flowing .

Tiger had these on display at the All Porsche Swap Meet & Show here in SoCal last weekend. A model for P-cars and another for VW. Both ceramic coated. Very nice!

If someone buys this PLEASE post a review and a sound clip since I am definitely getting one if it is not too loud and actually "streetable". I have a A-1 sidewinder with Magnaflow right now and it is throaty but not crazy loud, so I can live with a little noise but not full on "race car level" exhaust/pretty much baffled open pipes.

How did this thread go from a picture of a reproduction Carrera GT exhaust to a sales pitch for a sidewinder with a center exhaust? (You know, the one that's been available from Tiger for years)

I think the Carrera exhaust is what is interesting to a lot of guys....

Thomas - When I talked with him at the Porsche Show, Tiger said the Carrera exhaust is LOUD. I've heard one at another event. It sounded pretty dang bitchin when the driver blipped the throttle. Made everyone turn and look WTF? Based on your criteria, it would probably not be what you call 'streetable'.

Tiger did say the exhaust in this video is unrestricted... so louder than what would be produced for our cars.
