Check out the cool exhaust at A-1 headers

Sounds kinda like a stock Vintage Spyder exhaust. 4 into 2 into 2 separate mufflers(Magnaflow) then into a center single exit. I'm just sayin'....Too loud for most.

I thought my exhaust was loud, but this is freakin loud! This system would work on my IM if I NEVER put the top up. If I did, the raucous cacophony would blow out my eardrums, cause my fillings to separate from my teeth, and leave my passengers begging for mercy!!

That is like a what,500K-800K car??? I am tripping out,that car is in Hawaii! Does anyone know which island....wow I could never imagine a real Carrera GS/GT being here. My car is the total copy of that car right there,and almost thought it was a replica untgil I saw the 150-200K motor under the hood.

I think it lives on Maui. I've seen a YouTube video of it climbing Haleakala.

Kevin, that's a shame. There are a pile of us out here in T-IV-land who would love for someone to come up with an off-the-shelf answer to 914 and Bus pipes. It took a very long time to fabricate the pipes I have right now, and when they burn through it'll probably cost me the better part of a thousand bucks to have another header made.

Those pipes in the videos sound really, really nice.

Here it is. The last one is his "man cave" and he also has a Cobra!

I'll talk to Tiger. I think it would be easy to take a set of original 1.7L 914 headers with the two pipe flange and then make a flange for the already existing 4 cam exhaust and mate the two, making the 4 cam exhaust and mufflers un-bolt from the stock 914 headers..... I'll see what we can come up with....

That guy is my hero! i wonder if those other exotic cr owners know he has the most $$$ car out of the bunch by far!!!

Anyone have or know of a sound clip on the new A1 "Sebring" style exhaust? Or has anyone bought one yet and can give input to the sound level? I've been looking on YouTube and found a couple on 356's but none that say they were from A1. I've been looking for a single tip exhaust for awhile. It seems to me that if someone was just looking for the "look" of the center tip that there are several exhaust systems out there like the various "GT" style for vw etc, that could be easily modified into a single exit. Something a good exhaust shop could just cut and then add the bends and them merge in to one. I don't know that there would be any performance increase, but the cost would be much less than the A1 version. Any thoughts?

Yes Bill, buy this exhaust. I'd love to see what it looks like (and sounds like) on one of our replicas.

Just got Jon's in today. Gonna pull it out of the box and take some pictures before sending it over to him. Maybe even hang it off the back of my car for a couple of seconds and take some other pictures....

What does the sidewinder cost? My motor is but I have no exhaust.
