How come something that is supposed to be made in Germany is stamped "Made in Germany" in English? I would think that if it were "made in Germany" it would say "Hergestellt in Deutschland". I'd be real careful on this one.
That "Made in Germany" label looks exactly like the "Made in India" label on the old caps that I have.
Although . . . my 356 has a plate in the door jam that says "made in West Germany."

Die Deutschen would never use those cheapo Americano type clips on the back. On my 914, they use black wire nuts. Everywhere on that vintage 1971 car, black wire nuts not those flat rectangular ones. Zay like zu tighten mit ein Schlussel.
