Cheesy Newbie question. How much to get a Beck Spyder sans motor? | 356 Speedster, 550 Spyder, Replica, Automotive Community

Guys,

I need a Spyder! How much can I get one that just needs a motor plugged into it? I want one that is painted, tires, etc. I just want to be able to plug my own motor into it. How much? What is the wait. I am looking at the Beck style, not the Vintage.

Sorry for such a lame question. I found that the Vintage sans motor is 25k. Is a plain jane beck any cheaper?

Where are you located? I am in Lethbridge, Alberta and I have a 1989 Beck that I would like to sell. It's a good running car but if I was going to keep it I would like to transplant a bigger motor in to it. Its got an 1835 right now. So if you ripped out the 1835 and put your motor into it you wouldn't be losing much.
