Does anyone know if the British Speedster shop Chesil is still operating and, if so, their whereabouts?
I'll be in the UK in a few weeks and just discovered that Chesil is (or was) located very close to where I'll be staying. Their website says they're "currently moving premises" but doesn't give a new address, or an old one for that matter.

Hmmm... production may have slowed some since the company's most productive years.

Hi. They are still building. If you are going, I'd call and let them know you're coming. Not that they'd turn you away but there may be reasons they aren't about or at a show.....whatever. I have a Chesil and have dropped in but sometimes the owner isn't about. It is good to see what they are doing though.

I swapped emails with Peter Bailey two years ago, when they had already been in the address given above as "temporary accommodation" for quite a while. He had several 356 in various stages of construction plus used ones in the yard. If you can't get in contact via the website, email me privately and I give you his email.

Would like to see write up and photos of visit chronicled in the new REINCARNATION magazine. Good to hear story of UK only (?) Speedster replica company. Read article recently that last MG was recently made in UK. I always like how they solved the side widow glass to front windshield frame solution.
