Chuck Beck stopped by for lunch today

A few serious gearheads got together at at a fellow vintage racers shop and Chuck stopped by for lunch how cool is that .we had a great time.

That was not at my place but at a fellow vintage racer that I race with a guy named Ray Morgon His shop is called Vintage Motorcar Restorations or V.M.R. It is in Atlanta I went there to get some stuff for the Envemo But anybody is welcome to come by my place anytime .I wont be here at the end of october Ill be in Mexico doing the Lacarrera Panamericana Race .Ck out this monster car Note Iam not brave enough to drive this one I just try to keep it running

That car looks like the 'Hudson Hornet' character on the animated film 'Cars'. Paul Newman was the voice for the Hudeon Hornet.

Chris Coxs and I are good friend and he still lives in Beck's old house where a lot of our beloved cars were built.

Yes, Chuck drove a Lola T-70 in CanAm. To this day he is one of a few driver's that I trust to scare the crap out of me... :)

Can-AM - 2000 pound race cars with big block engines, 12 inch velocity stacks and zoomy headers. No wonder they used to call them the big noise boyz!
