NOT MINE.  Roof is a little saggy  Nice color - crappy seats.  Not sure where it is - Pensacola is NOT North Central Florida --- looks like Gainsville??? Obviously CMC by ref to South Florida (Miami CMC Hq). Whoopie on the MB 190SL data plate and its purported value?

I could see if it was an old 356 data plate - that would be cool.  I came across the ad looking for a Mercedes SLK on CL -- not a Porsche so guess it acted as a key word.  Pensacola is 6 hr drive from Gainesville! It isn't a bad looking car for $12k. By the way SLKs with 6 speed manual transmissions are quite rare - 4500 build last year.  MB is talking about not even offering one in 2016.  Not sure the manual is a good choice for their 1.8L turbo 4 - can't find one to drive!  There is turbo lag so suspect shifting would exacerbate that lag? Next year the MB 1.8L moves up to a 2L.

My sister had an '01 SLK 320, V6, 6 speed. She bought it new, then got rid of it when she had her son in 2004. It used to pop out of reverse, but other than that, was a joy to drive. I know that motor had WAY more power than the 210 listed, more like 250-275. That thing could really MOVE! I loved borrowing it. The retractable hardtop was flawless. Loved that car.
