That's the ~52-55 dash even has a glove box..
Gives you some idea of just how much they stripped out to create the Speedster.

I think there's room, on the passenger side, for a couple more knobs.
That's an early Pre-A Cabriolet. Beehives, no horn grilles, front parking lights right under headlights.
Not that beautiful, though. 
I think that's a Porsche Continental with the badge removed due to Ford suing Porsche.

If it's not a Porsche Continental, maybe it's an early "Edsel"? 
Pre A's are hot Hot HOT. I can't see it myself but I don't have 300K either ;-)

Saw one at a Concourse in Seattle once. Very nice, and very weird dash, I'll agree. Guy said the original tires were on, and they looked right. Said he put 50 feet on the car each year -- a couple of trips on and off the trailer.

I went to the link in the first post and then followed the link to the Scottsdale Auction house that is listing the car for sale.
It is a 1953 Porsche 356 Bent Window Cabriolet.
According to the ad it was previously owned by the Beck Family. I wonder if @chines1 has any history on the car.
