Have to put a fair bit into that one to make it a dependable runner; a fan shroud so it cools properly (with a cooler that doesn't preheat the cooling air), the exhaust area needs to be sealed off from the engine, a hole needs to be cut in the firewall for air intake once the exhaust area is sealed off from the engine, fix the parking brake, probably needs a new engine (odometer is at 100,000, and with that fan shroud and eating preheated air for that long...); anybody see anything else?

1) Who is Classic Industries? That car looks to be a CMC.

2) Could they have mounted that license plate light any higher on the body?

3) I think you're going to need to extend the oil filler at least another few inches before it's completely useless.

4) The throttle cable position confuses me. Oh.. nevermind. If we had run it down the middle, where would we run all those wires?

5) It's going to need some side view mirrors.

This car makes me feel good about what I paid for mine. Could be a great starting point, at about half the price.

Ted, Perhaps Classic Industries, was a holding company for Classic Motor Carriages?  Or some smoke screen to hide from debtors, remember there was no Google searching back in those days
