Hi Everyone,

Well, I've managed to talk my daughter into letting me sell my Speedster in preparation for the next project. She doesn't want it sold (and I surely hate to let it go) but I've had a burn for another project/toy-car for a while now and will have to finance the next project by selling this one.

Alan Merklin (of SOC fame) was the originator of this project and I finished it up. His expertise was a huge benefit as I completed my labor of love. The Speedster has won several honors and always garners admirers of that gorgeous red paint Alan picked out and had applied before I picked up on the project.

The build was completed around July 2005 and has seen light duty since compeletion, making the rounds at the local car shows and cruise-ins and the occasional afternoon drive. Presently, she has 564 miles on the build and is pratcially new.

It will be listed locally and on other web sites. I will likely list it on ebay if there are no takers in the next few weeks.

If anyone is interested or knows someone who is, please check out the pictures here on the SOC and on my clunky little website (www.trenteubanks.com) and email me (teubanks@hopper.net) for more information.

Thanks,
Trent Eubanks

I'm with David in thinking that the impending warm weather will help put the sold sign on this one. And, as Alan Merklin said when I bought it from him, "it is painted re-sell red", so maybe that will catch a few interested buyers' eyes. There has been some interest expressed from this and another listing but no checks in the mail yet.

Thanks Lane - that's great news! I had a good talk this afternoon with Trent, and we have made a deal. I am desperately trying to sell my MG so I can go through with the purchase of Trent's Speedy. Anybody here know someone that wants a great little '76 Midget? I can't wait to be able to open my garage door and see my first Speedster sitting there!
