What did they expect from a crooked Targa? Parts car for a coupe, I always say.
Did you see the crooked bumper and ill-fitting left fender?
Nice tire test though.
No Avons, Marty?
Well, the Avon's are pound for pound the best classic road race tires on the planet. That said, these Pirelli's look great and have good reviews. Price is good too; they are $149 in 185/70 14's. The Avons are not off the table but I need lots of cash to complete this project.
They goto 15inches only... I have 16 inch fuchs
Sorry Ray, your stuck with modern profiles.
CN36s are amazing. I had a set on my 56 356A coupe with a 2.1L motor (seen here with a set of Technos at my friend John Willhoit's shop in Long Beach). It handled incredibly well without being too harsh. I previously had some Avons on it, which were equally good (just more expensive!). As bang for your buck goes, I really like the Vredesteins, but the CN36s are the next step up.
Those rims make those tires look great.

Marty,
Who makes these wheels? Those are nice.
