All, I have a clear bra on my SUV and have been trying to find someone who can install one on my 356. Has anyone had one installed on theirs and if so could you provide me with the details.

The installers that I've come across don't want to touchit since a pattern isn't readily availabe for the 356 so it has to be a custom install.

All help with this would be appreciated. I'm getting the front end repainted and would like to protect it. I have a regular front bra but really don't like the way it looks.

If you haven't heard of these before google "clear bra" and installation and you'll get more details. It's great stuff.

Thanks,

Josh

Josh:

Just sent you some pictures via email...

Stongard.com has a template for a 356A, but they do not have a 3M product (and their post-install support is not so hot). Xpel and Invica both have 3M product, and Invinca has a template AND a special going on right now that is an unbeatable price ($198!!) for a pre-cut kit. Maybe you could get a pre-cut kit and have someone local install it?? That would probably cost $150 - $200 above the cost of the kit....

I went the custom route, but got the whole thing for $400 installed - they used a single nose sheet of 24" high all across the nose to the edges of the fender flares, and another piece on the hood to match the fender lines - came out nice, and is invisible under most lighting angles (on a white car - don't know about darker colors and Black shows up just about everything).
