Desi's Solar Control is in Huntington Beach, right next door to you. He's also a Speedster replica owner and a real craftsman.
Desi is the one to go to! He's done a few of the Speedsters from this site. Here are some pics of Desi installing in Cuz'n Vinnie's car!
Jim I bet if I asked you if you had a pic of Alan Merklin from 1989 on a bus trip with David Stroud you not only would have a pic but probably have a video..lol. You the Man Jim!!!!
thank you very much
I'll PM Desi
Make sure whoever you use uses 3M or Avery... about 99% of the other brands of clear rock shield vinyl discolor and yellow over time... or will damage paint if ever needed to be removed for any reason.
Right on, Seduction! This is 3M Dez put on Vinny's car! Took a few hours on install (to make it fit proper, no wrinkles) and provided excellent protection for that bad boy Speedster!
Not sure how often Dez checks this site nowadays, so here is the link to Desi's site...
Todd - I think I have that pic!
What up SOC ? FYI - My go to material for years was 3M & Venture Shield Ultra. Last month I changed to Nano-Fusion.com
The best PPF film available to date, I install this PPF raw and it take me 4-5 hours.
If you have patience and a day or two to do the install, go for it
No pattern for the Speedster (bummer)
Give me a call if you have question 714-962-8468
Thanks Musbjim, Jim Kelly, Tom Blankinship, for the referral
Lots to do this weekend In So Cal for car shows Ill post in events.
Thanks,
Cabanaby

Pre-cut patterns look tacky on high end cars. I agree, definitely worth it to start raw and make it contour and fit to each individual car. Especially working with a fiberglass car since the pattern for a cut-out would differ from car to car.
Hey Larry! You & Chrissy doing SLO this year...hope so!
Desi, I have a customer for you. He has a Nissan Nismo, do you have a pattern for that or do you need to start from scratch...
Jim, I'll be there. Chrissy won't, she is working a promotion for Penziol's new synthetic oil. she will be on the road all summer. I'm trying to get her to ship me a case or 3 for the SLO run.

NISMO?
Xpel ultimate is a very good product....MUCH better than 3M IMO....I've used on a couple cars with great success.
