Marty,
Your car has always been my favorite on this site. Now, with the added ( beautiful )engine swap, it's passed into the realm of artwork.

Things are a little hazy after partying down here in key west. I think I read my motor was shipped to El Guapo's home for testing. Lap dances are half price due to the bad economy. Interesting place but I could not handle more than a couple days here. Back to the party now. See ya! Marty

Jimbo,
That's Karate Kid-2. The older one is the bad ass. Nicholas is the lover until you get him ticked off and then all hell breaks loose. No engine yet. I'll keep you posted.

Marty, that is one of the nicest looking engines I've seen. Can't wait to see it in the flesh in October.
That engine is ALMOST as sexy as Sandy!
Ah yes, the Italian-Amish bombshell!

I've never seen that done before. Saves on disconnecting all the lines every time the engine comes out of the car, huh?
Very smart.

Thanks Guys, Rolland has some good ideas. He asked me how much room I had behind the doghouse; should all fit in nicely.
Marty--you are going to be one happy guy! Remember---we knew you "when".
I especially like those sexy connectors for the breather lines--high quality and they add a lot of interesting detail to the engine.
What fun!---Good job by you and Roland.----Jack
OH ROLLO!........ You've done it again.

Cory, having the breather on the oil cooler side of the shroud is fairly common.
Here's a photo of my previously owned Beck Spyder engine. If you look directly in the middle top of the first photo, you'll see where I mounted my breather and hoses

Mounting the breather box behind the shroud like that has been around for a while I've been doing it this way on my friend's car's and on my car's for about 20 year's If you look at marty's motor the bracket holding the oil filter . I had that mount made for his motor so it keep's all the oil line's on the motor so his install would be easier . Also the mount was made to clear the heater box's . ROLAND

U too Gerd, I envy the coupe sometimes, It's gonna look awesome. And you can drive it more often.
Almost there, Oil Cooler in and Headers are on. They were doing some wiring late in the day. It all gets bolted up in the morning. Any suggestions on break in oil? How many miles before I should change it?
Marty

Brad Penn is good oil but in my opinion, Swepco is better but,,, both are much better than the standard over the counter oil.
Run the engine HARD varying your RPM's as much as possible for at least 500 miles then drain the oil, add a new filter if you have one and refill.
Read this. The author states that the dialogue indicates "motorcycle" but it also applies to automobile engines
