The weather was nice yesterday,so I decided to take my speedster for a drive. When I came back I parked it on the driveway. The clutch felt good during my drive. The clutch felt very loose(too much free play) when I drove it into the garage. Do you think I need to adjust the clutch cable?

"Sudden" changes in clutch feel are usually caused by a "sudden" type of problem, as in, "all of a sudden one or two clutch cable strands break", and the cable stretches - just before it breaks completely in half. Ask me how I know. Be thankful you're in your garage. Usually you won't see the cable broken strands - they will be hiding inside the Bowden tube - but if you look carefully at the cable extending from the tube, you may notice it looks sort of un-stranded (untwisted?) compared to the rest of the visible cable. Sure sign of failure. If you replace the cable, lightly grease the new cable as you install it. I halved my clutch pedal effort by doing this simple task. An access door on the passenger side of the central tunnel, at the pedals, is also highly recommended.
