The Clutch started slipping in my coupe.So I tried adjusting it still slipped .Pulled the engine the friction plate was not worn but glazed and the surface on the flywheel was very shiny . So I had the machine shop resurface the flywheel and got a new friction plate put it back in the car it still slips why .I tried adjusting the cable both ways when its too loose its hard ti go in gear with correct pedal free play it slips cant figure it out Iam sure its something simple stupid.Somebody help me please

You may be going to far loose or tight. Get a big screwdriver handy when tightening the wing nut. Use the screwdriver to pry on the arm, listening closely for the t/out bearing to contact the pressure plate.
You should have an 1/8th" or so of play in the clutch arm at rest when it's set properly. Theory here being you don't want the bearing riding constantly on the p/plate.( wing nut too tight)
Might want to check that the Bowden tube hasn't slipped and lost it's arch while you're in there.
