I hope I have found the solution to my clutch cable issues. I have broken my clutch atleast twice a year over the past 3 years. I have replaced a broken shaft (at the hook), severly worn shaft (at the hook), cables and atleast 4 eyebolts. The eye bolts and cable clamp are my way of getting around not being able to feed my cable from the front to the back due to the bend in the clutch cable tube in the tunnel.

The assembly is by Custom Metric Accessories. You can find Eric on The Samba. My clutch is the one thing I am constantly worried about when in get on the road. I am hoping this solves all the issues. Attachign a couple pics, new assembly, and old way of doing things for reference.

This was an easier and cheaper solution than going hydraulic. Thought id let the group know about it.

Michael,

Took that video a couple years ago... Posted it for reference as to the initial issue. I tried to upload some images and the site crapped out on me. attached are some pics of the old rig that got me by and the new solution. Ill take some install pics this weekend.

I can't seem to Upload images any longer on this site. Standby while I figure out a way around it.
