Photos? Still in Miami?
58speedsterC...do you see the "Add Attachments" message below when you post a reply?
Click on that, when that comes up, click on the "Upload Files", you should then get a dialogue box that will allow you to select and upload your files from your computer...pretty simple.
2 things:
1- 250 shot? Can't see that one having a very long fuse...
2- With the grill replaced with glass, how does the motor breathe?
Yes, I think there is some sort of problem loading from a phone.

thx for your patience 3rd try was a charm. just a side note the crappy thunderbird 4 tip exhaust was replaced by a ceramic coated dual setup sounds and looks so much better. Kurt from vintage helped me out with all of the replacement/missing parts needed i cant thank him enough.
Very nice, Mike. More shots of the engine might be of help.
thx hard to believe this sat in pieces in a storage unit for 24 years. I ll upload more engine pics tomorrow when i get in.
Mike, what is the paint code for this lovely red color?
Nice.. I'm kinda diggin it!
(well except for that AM controller & "shift light?" on the dash)
Looks bad ass though!
Nice ride mike - I love how the wheels fit the wheel well - most don't seem to fit the wide bodies right. What size are the wheels/tires? Also how do you like the Mamba shifter? I was thinking of going to one on my build. Is that the short or long version?
Anyway - good luck on your sale - it should go well
Car turned out great ! How did you adjust the ride height front & rear ? Looks much better at that ride height - does it impact the street ride quality at all ?
Did the tonneau come with your kit, or did you have it made ?
Is the engine lid thermostatically controlled to auto-magic-ly open to get air to intakes and engine cooling? I can see sealed compartment being issue if you start putting miles on it.
MIke - looks like you did a pretty good job piecing together your Speedster. Looks bad-ass! Hope all goes well with your sale, somebody out there is looking for that car!
I'm also digging your VW vert in the garage! 73?
Mike, I'm sure I will speak for many others here...you've come to the right place alright. We have a phrase here..."Welcome to the Madness"...you seem well versed and immersed in it already, why give up now?
It's a bad ass looking car and one of the nicest looking Wide bodies I've seen. Everything just flows.
Drive that baby in the summer and see how many looks you get. Betcha keep it
