I am making a mould off my CMC flared body and at the same time will convert it to RHD.
Now is the time to fix the steering wheel offset in relation to the seat and dash pod problem.

Any feedback on how much the current offset is and in which direction etc would be appreciated.
Is it as simple of moving the pod X inches to one side?

Steering column fouling the gas tank is not a worry at all, and a larger custom tank is easily and cheaply fabricated here. Seems best to locate the steering where it should and deal with the tank as required.

when mounting mine (few weeks ago),

i connected the shaft to the steering box (gas tank removed),
loosely bolted the upper mount to the sub frame,
loosely bolted the upper shaft mount to the upper mount,
put on my wheel,
pushed it over / around until it lined up with the dash contour,
tightened everything

done.
