Hello all from a new member - I have a 1993 CMC speedster that I just got on the road. Now that the "Shakedown" period is over, I would like to adjust the passenger door a bit rearwards to stop some rubbing on the forward edge when opening/closing the door.

Can these hinges be adjusted? I loosened the top one with an allen wrench, but didn't get any movement.

Help!

You need to adjust only the door side of the bolts. Not the body side. No adjustments are required in the fiberglass.

After loosening all the bolts but keeping them snug, have a helper pull the door handle up and back. Get in the car so that the alan wrench just fits. Pull the door back and up. Tighten the bottom middle bolt then the top middle bolt.

Check fit,, you may have to repeat. I woould not adjust the fiberglass.
