I got the a few months back, it's fun, but in TX I need A/C. So It's a CMC, 1776 motor with deep sump, and oil filter, Hydrologic lifters. Lets call it Irish Green, a few scuffs here and there. complete tune up, and fluids change. Has top and tonneau cover. New radio and speakers. Has an Empi Shifter now, and Nipple Hubcaps too, (Old ones go with it)  Was built in 1999 by a dealer I believe in AZ. Texas Titled as a 1957 Porsche. Runs great, and yes I would drive it cross country, now some minor issues, The headlights need a relay circuit installed, no reverse light. seats could use a recovering. (some wear, minor holes in the leather)

Price is firm, so no "offers"   $12,500

I bet the top would tighten up by flipping the levers as pointed out by MusBJim in another post.

"With the top up and latched to the windshield frame, check inside your top and locate the levers on driver side and passenger side, just above where the convertible top ribs are joined. Pull up these levers until they lock in place.

These levers take the slack out of the convertible top when the top is in the up position. The tension of the top will keep the levers in a locked position until you pull these levers down when taking the top down."

I see no harm in scanning in the title - could even watermark with VOID.  I'm in US and would want to see how its titled.  Titled as, say, newer than 1984 Speedster or even kit car would cause emissions testing requirements.  Titled as a 57 Porsche Speedster would result in astronomical personal property tax (gulp, a $150k real Speedster!).  Titled as a Salvaged vehicle would raise eye brows on some buyer.  In many European countries you have to prove that it was constructed more than 20 (or 25?) years ago to avoid having it meet their strict current safety requirements.  Would be a costly lawn ornament if you couldn't legally register it.  Shipping and payment for overseas sales can be securely and safely accomplished - just ask DRCLOCK.  It's a global economy now.

No I didn't ,and Mr. Colin, You like being cocky. I sell to who I want, I don't ship out of the country, I don't send info to total strangers from God knows where. See I don't have to sell it, so I can and will be picky.

And yes, this site is a about a lame excuse. Other than some info, you folks think these are real! They are just pathetic plastic copies of a once great car, and that's all they'll ever be.

And on that note... Good Bye boneheads.

What a bunch of dumb asses....

Perhaps. But I've got a nice white $4 t-shirt, and none of my friends have burned down my house yet, so there's that.

Rather than saying something in the beginning like a civil human being, you should probably just treat every interested foreign buyer as if they're out to rob you because there's no way to get that information across politely.
