So many have done the upgrade to the VDO 3 gauge 356 style gauges. On the fence if I want to change the arrangement I currently have--it is a replica and I do like how they are set up. Has anyone found gauges of the same size in either a white face or cream color of good quality? I don't have a caliper to measure the diameter of the gauge body or outer trim so if you could share it would be appreciated. Just order a digital caliper.

VDO makes (JBUGS has listed) a parchment faced antique looking 52mm (2 1/16" for smaller gauges) with chrome bezel called the Royale. The Speedo/Tach is 3 1/8". I think the script looks more appropriate to a TD or Gazelle though. There are lots of them on ebay. Not sure if still made as they now have a modern white with black (or chrome) bezel gauge available.

Anyone know the size of the CMC gauges holes--smaller gauges and tach/speedo? Wait-might be in my CMC manual. Hope I didn't waste anyone's time on the 4th.
Thanks Wolfang. Mine has the tach and speedo next to each other then 4 smaller gauges in a line to the right. I like the look.
