Hello all. I have a CMC Speedster that is in need of repair in the headlight wiring. Third position of the fuse block is smoked. Does anyone have the electrical schematics for this car? Has anyone had this same problem by chance?

I have the original CMC build book and will scan and post pictures.
I should say once I figure out how to do it, I'm new to this forum site and have not figured out how everything works yet.
I will get them up that I promise you.
Consider installing relays at the same time if they are not already there. It's an inexpensive and very effective addition.
I have no idea what year sorry as I just purchased the car about 2 months ago,
and yes it's for a 1957 wide body cmc but I believe it shouldn't make a difference or I hope it doesn't.
Oh mine is also sitting on a 1957 VW pan so it's registered as a 1957, but as for what year the kit was made, that's anyone's guess.
BTW guys, this site survives on donations. The build manuals are all available to donating members in the Library section.

Sorry, I'm new to forums and didn't know.
My bad, won't happen again.
Sorry. I'm new too. Didn't mean to get anyone in trouble here. Thanks for the help still. No good deed...
Be sure to fuse High and Low beams on different fuses
The high beams are already ran through a relay. They are all that actually work right now. Only if I hold the stalk back in the flash position though.
You need to look at the OEM VW wiring diagram then - the CMC uses a foot switch. VW ones are available on THE SAMBA.
