I do not believe you will get rid of me that easy. We will be out of Porsche for about 6 mos just got to get some cash together quicker than I want so better to sell than lose 20% in penalties. Am working on a 02 911 cab going up for sale in July won't be a 356 but maybe yall will let me hang around still. Just had to pass on an 04 boxster for 15K but got to help a kid first.

That said I'll take offers and help deliver.

Richard--it's always sad to see a Speedster buddy sell his car but you are a stand up guy dop do what's necessary.

Hope you will get another Speedster sooner rather than later.

Not much of a market in our neck of the woods. Been thinking about selling my 2005 Vintage since I drive it very little, 1400 miles in not quite 3 years. Regret we never got together to go for rides.

Hi, I have just found this website and registered since I'm looking for a 356 speedster to purchase.

I'm French and European market is pretty poor while US market seems to have more opportunities.

your car looks great I love the carera style.

would be interested in buying it but ... I'm french living in France, overseas.

in order to register a kit in France it needs to be more than 30 years old (not only the original tittle but the conversion also)and in such case can be registered as an historical vehicule.

do the tittle or any invoice can help me prooving it French authorities?

does CMC started building replicas before 1981?

many questions but should it look positive, I would be glad to pruchase this car.

I believe shipping can be arranged from New Orleans harbour, if someone has any idea let me know.

I would be interested to share any experience and view on selling overseas for an US citizen.

definitely right Dave, french law are very restictives for kit cars but permit to buy and drive right hand drive cars from UK and drive it on open road!!!!

I ride an Electra Glide SE now and just won a Yamaha 1100 in a drawdown so do not need another bike but have the car at one of the best deals seen in the last few years. Come on down and see it.Will be home Sat but gone to Mardi Gras the next couple of days

Well now it's on ebay Too many people think I have to get rid of it and want a low ball bargin. I guess we will see how Ebay goes I just don't want a car note right now selling the speedie will pay of the SC 430 maybe I am supposed to keep it a while longer who knows.
Its about 75 and sunny out I guess I'll take her out and spread her wings a little while

Well she sold on Ebay last night. They are coming to take her away Sunday. 8100 cash I paid 8500 3 years ago put in a good deal more but that's OK. Got way more enjoyment out of her than I lost in $. Found some new friends and advisors along the way. I'll start looking for my next one late thes year.

Jim there are not many I haven't owned over the years 72 Europa, fun but broke down a lot maybe was the way I drove it, had a gold 246 Dino for a while kept getting tickets then went to Detroite muscle, 79 Trans AM custom ordered with all the TA goodies same thing 11 tickets in 11 months it only had 85 on the speedo so I did not think it was that fast.....Been thru a couple of supercharged Pickups and a couple of Vettes even tried off road, Land Cruiser was a blast so was the range Rover. All in all the Speedster has been the most fun. $ should be in better shape by end of year and I have learned a lot about these "fake" cars the next one will not have a 1641 in it and will have to have A/C to keep the bride happy maybe heat too. ha ha ha

Richard, I'm serious about you coming to Carlisle. There's no better place to compare and contrast different car and research what your next one will be. You'll have a blast, too.

Carlisle is the wrong time of year for us. Mill shuts down for 2 weeks for maintenance can't leave.

Richard - It was a pleasure meeting you and your lovely wife Becky during Cruzin' the Coast last year. Keep in touch. I'm up for a drive whenever the weather is nice, no matter what you're driving. We can pick a good halfway point.

BTW, if you've got anything that's fun to drive, it could still be fun to join the Fall Smokies Run later this year.

Becky picked an SC 430 for her work "truck" not near the fun that the Speedster was but at least it's a drop top trying to get the Smokies lined up now. This kid problem has been a pain. Selling the speedster paid off the 430 so at least I don't owe money I hate payments. Felix Ron Wells bought the car he is in Robert just east of Hammond so there is a car close to you still. He Already has some pretty cool plans for paint job etc.
