No...no....no..........
A couple of dunces just got "detained" in the US midwest for having cell phones taped to bottles of pepto bismol (an over-the-counter treatment for acid indegestion here in the US) in their checked baggage, as well as other, more-or-less common household stuff taped together in unlikely combinations.
The theory is that someone (bad guys?) was testing the airline security to see what might make it through in hopes that they might capitalize on it as a future terrorist approach. These two were supposedly not the sharpest knives in the drawer, so they let them go (but, of course, now they're on every "do not fly" list in the West).
So, I guess a CMC tach or speedo taped to a bottle of Zepheryllis water (commonly sold at Disney World) might be worrisome to the TSA security people.
Come to think of it, I wonder if I'll ever see the box of seven bottles of Mesalamine that they confiscated because (a.) they were "larger than the guideliines" by 10 ml and (b.) I couldn't produce a prescription for them. $170 bucks thrown in the trash....
