1957 Porsche Speedster kit car replica. Bought the kit about two years ago. Been slowly putting it together. Wife thought I was going to slowly so she said buy one that is already done, so I did! That's the kind of wife you want, one that tells you to go out and buy another car! Anyway, bought the one I'm selling for $5500. Bought a 1600 engine (complete with duel carbs, air cleaners, exhaust, ready to go, with a 1000 miles on it) for $1500. Bought new gauges for $450 from Vintage Speedster. Bought a new wiring harness from Vintage Speedster for $150. Bought a fuel tank for $50, a steering column for $30, a wood steering wheel and adapter for $125, a new master cylinder for $35, new coil for $25, new battery cables for $55, new starter for $35, new master cylinder reservoir for $25, new ignition switch, light switch and wiper switch for $65. I have most of the parts to put it together, just pretty much needs to be done. The body looks pretty good. I lightly buffed out one side of the paint and it shined up pretty well. It can either be buffed up or you can paint it. Give me a call if interested 209-777-0182 or email at ricksstang@gmail Thanks Rick

To see pictures go to Samba and type in speedster, it's the red one from Merced CA. Or on craiglist in Merced CA type in speedster or email me at ricksstang@gmail and I'll send pictures! Thanks

And what is also good about selling to a friend is he can look at my completed car when he needs to figure out how to do something. My friend is extremely good at restoring cars so he's going to do an exceptional job. I'm sure you all will get to know him as I gave him the Speedsterowners site address. He is something of a character to put it mildly. He will fit in here well!
