Bill, Do the bumpers come with the metal deco strips and rubber inserts.

Bruce: Yes the trim is included I think there is a rubber gasket that goes between the trim and the bumper also. These parts are in the original packing. The bumpers are made of fiberglas.
The only other catch is how and the heck to ship them. I'm thinking a large hard cardboard tube?

Bill, when I sold my bumpers I went to a couple of local auto body shops and got the needed carton(s) they do they get some odd ball shaped boxes in ..stay far away from "Mail Box Etc" UPS Store type of places to "buy a box" they are robbers!( $7 for an empty box!) I've also found that DHL is the cheapest to ship.

Bruce: I do have a Paypal Acct. I guess you send it to my e-mail address on Paypal. BUT, before you do, let me check on shipping costs to get an idea of a total. Wife thinks the oversize package won't be cheap. She's ex-UPS.

let me know the damages, no rush on my part at all. to tell you the truth i just need the trim, strips etc. , i already have bumpers. so i'll take them because it's a package but
if anyone just needs the fiberglass bumpers we can make a deal/split.

Try FEDEX Ground for shipping - They are cheaper than UPS and USPS - especially if you ship to a business address. Believe their oversize dimensions are more generous too.

Easy bumper box, go to the local appliance store and cut two sides out of a refrig carton keeping them attached to each other, then score it long ways in in quarters allowing enough for end flaps, fold, tape and ship.

Again-If anyone needs bumpers--getum now. Do I hear $50 for the two?

If no one bites, I'll go $25 for the two. It's the shipping that's gonna kill because it's an "oversized" box. You pay for size, regardless of weight.

That sounds great, and thanks! When you ship me the bumpers, just cradle one into the other as best you can, wrap 'em all up with packing tape, Egyptian mummy-style, and send 'em that way.

Light weight and easy for you. I work with fiberglass all the time and would be altering the contours anyway, so even if they broke in half, it wouldn't matter.

If it's easier for you to saw them both in half ahead of time and wrap/tape up all four pieces together, that's just fine as well.
