I have a Speedster C from Classic Motor Carriages thats approx 20 years old. I got it about 90% complete and never finished it and was curious what reasonable price it would bring to move it quickly. Any thoughts would be helpful on this.
Its the speedster C edition with the flared fenders... I put it on a Metalcraft Chassis (tube chassis, 4 wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, coil over front suspension ect) I purchased a built VW engine from Vee Dub parts in Ca thats supposed to be 110HP and also bought a close ratio tranny from them as well. I have had the car running and driven it in the driveway is all. This car has never been on the road as of yet.
I lack some minor electrical work on the lights, installing seat belts, and basically checking the car over from front to back. I got the car titled and tagged years ago but did not renew the tags due to it not being driven any.
The car has been garage kept for all this time... but I am sure anything rubber would need to be replaced... probably including the goodyear tires which never hit the road but are over 20 years old now. Also, I'm sure the battery wound need replacing and the carbs may need to be rebuilt... not sure what they are but there's 2 of them... hehe
Any thoughts on a reasonable price for this would be helpful.. I wanna move it out.
