Hey;

       I was hoping I could learn from your experience(s) and find the proper Door seal rubber for a CMC speedster?  Or a good alternative I can source.    My car looks like the rubber was removed for whatever reason,   there is a glue residue still present on the rear and lower door edges inside, and I found all the metal carpet trim pieces that are missing in the "box of stuff" I got from the prev. owner.          Carpet just ends rough at the door opening now,  and this just looks crappy.          I want to fix this!

      The carpet is still pretty new and nice, I'd just like to make this part of the car more 'clean' and presentable....    And I'd rather not buy real Porsche parts.    Any help would be appreciated.

thanx

Klasse 356 .com is a good source.. But I preferr Restortion Specialties.com..

 They have a varity of 356 stye rubbers by the yard  And if you ask they can help you select a excellent replacements . Im well please with what i got from them for both the doors and the trunk  If you do the trunk  also get the Tweeks 356 trunk corner kit that help secure the rubber at the corners near the winshield.( Looks Factory!!) when done that way..

Al Merklin uses something from JC Whitney for door weatherstrip.  IIRC, it has a cross-sectional shape of a "D", has an adhesive backing, comes on a roll and cost around $30 bucks.  I'll take a look on their site for a part number and report back.

lots of different weatherstrip stuff that might work at McMaster-Carr, or you could search Custom Car or Street Rod magazines for sources there.  There are a bunch of places making this stuff.
