Lucky you if you have the defrost holes in dash already - otherwise you'd need to remove windshield.  Slides are readily available.  You'll need them to direct flow to defrosters.  You'll need appropriate size hose to go from pipes under dash to the defrosters (size is in manual).  Plus hopefully you have OEM heater boxes (and not J tubes) so you'll need hoses to attach them to the body. Depending how far north you are (new SOC doesn't list location any more - miss that) - you might want to add a boat bilge blower to boost the flow.

thank you for the information. I will download the manual to get the information. Wolfgang you mentioned the slides were available. If you could suggest where I can purchase them I would appreciate the information. Also, I would like to know how the  hoses are hooked up to vent defroster hoses. I have the defroster holes in the dash that look finished but do not see how they would attach to the hose.

finally. Th ankhs to both of you for the feedback. It makes me glad that I found the sight and joined. Also, Wolfgang I live in Lafayette Indiana where defrosters and some heat would extend my fall driving days.

There should be a hard rubber bung/nipple inserted thru the upper dash that you connect the hose to.  You found the ~1 1/2" pipes on either side (up under dash above door hinges)?

Mine didn't come with the defrost bungs so I made some from old VW dash vent tubes.  I bought the chrome dash vent grills from Klassee. I glassed these vents up to slots I made near windshield.
