Anyone have info-pics-directions etc to modify the top frame--so flimsy and awkward.
Where do you order a new top?
Is it possible to install some type of headliner?

Heritage - click on the 'Resources' tab above and navigate to the 'Library'. On that page you will find the CMC manual. Not sure how much help it would be for you.
Also, on that same page you could navigate to 'Knowledge Base'. On that page you will find excellent articles/tech tips authored by Gordon Nichols. A very thorough guide along with pictures.
Another SOCer who submitted a very cool guide for Top modification is MangoSmoothie. Enter his name in the 'Search' function above and you should be able to reference his excellent tech tips.

I haven't seen any recents ads on ebay by Raphael in MX. Think they were like $499 for top and frame.

Goddamn that top job was amazing. I have in my possession a legit 1952 MG TD top frame I mean to adapt to my car some day. But that looks like a lot of real careful work. Which is why I've been busying myself with easy stuff like the Suby swap.
On the Speedster, Porsche referred to it as an "emergency top." If installed properly with proper fitting side curtains - it can be fairly weather proof.
