IMG_20170821_153804516Does anyone know who the manufacturer was behind the "Vintage Reproduction" gauges shipped with CMC kits? I'm pretty sure I've got either a faulty pressure sender or oil pressure gauge. With the key on but the engine not running (12 volts applied to the gauge circuit) the needle pegs to the left, well below 0. With the engine cold, the gauge reads roughly 20 PSI from idle through 4000 RPM. Once the engine is warm, with oil temperature reading 230-250°, I see about 10-15 PSI at highway speed of 3600-3800 RPM, but needle pegs below zero at idle. I understand it's not abnormal to see low oil pressure once the oil is warm. That and the pegging below scale are why I'm looking at the gauge and sender.

Thanks,
Eric
