NOT MINE. Red "California" wide-body in Ashburn, Va with real 1963 1600cc 356 engine. Engine worth $7-10k alone. OEM CMC wide wheels that fill the flared body wheel openings. New wiring. Clean under chassis. Uninstalled top and tonneau. Looks great in photos. On ebay - currently $7500.

You know, a 356 (or 912) engine in a replica Speedster just doesn't do it for me; not enough bang for the buck. Save it for the appropriate car where it's more appreciated...

Super looking car for sure---I love that shade of red, nice stance and a bargain price.
I don't think a "real" 356 Porsche engine comes close to a C.B. Performance ot other well-built 2200 or even 1915 Type I.
I'd love to race a "real" 1600 cc Porsche Speedster to California for a lot of money!
The only part in an original 356 that would be nice to have is the tranny gear ratios or rather the second gear now.... that would be to my liking. ... a nice CB is great.
There is nothing like the blat-blat of a square exhaust port on a 356! I'd pull the engine and sell it off myself and replace it with a cheaper to maintain engine.
