The Classified section is open to any individual (non-commercial firms) posting of items for sale. Members posting commercial advertisements must be enrolled in a Supporting Merchant program.

Mr. Wolfgang; an off topic subject / question. I read the ad for this CMC. The seller states, will not accept wire transfers. I always thought that was the safest and quickest way to complete a transaction? I would never, take cash to a transaction with someone I don't know.

I think if seller sets up a new near empty account to accept wire transfers they are fine. Just don't use the account that all your savings are stored in. There are also bogus holding agents that promise to act like a middle man and hold the funds til both sides are satisfied. Best to meet at bank to transfer funds and have bank member sign and notarize a Bill of Sale. Certified checks aren't even safe any more. I'm sure Troy and DRClock could provide safe ways to transfer cash.
