Thinking about selling my 1994 CMC wide body Speedster. Been a fun car but I found I enjoyed my old Land Rovers much more.

Red gel-coat finish is in decent shape as is with minimal oxidation. Interior is basic black carpet with Speedster seats. 1600cc freshly built engine with about 1k miles on it, new clutch and pressure plate. New tires, 235R60, 215R60. Headers and a baffled Stinger. Tonneau cover fitted, soft top not fitted.

Nothing fancy and could use some tweaking but a good basic drive it now car. Not a show piece, but it turns heads every day. Vinyl racing decals can be removed.

Comes with a few extras as well. Asking $9500 OBO, e-mail me at heirphoto@comcast.net

Hey Tony!

Your car looks pretty cool! I'm sure the next owner will be stoked with the fun and attention it will provide (and at a great price!).

I'm sure you'll miss your Speedy, but it sounds like we share a similar propensity for Rovers. I currently have a '04 Range Rover HSE, a '91 RR classic (Great Divide edition -for serious 4xing) and I'm looking to get a '58 Series I spotted at a local shop. I'm guessing you havce a series also.

Check out this Rover website www.jpurnell.com (I'm not computer savy enough to know how to paste that link on here) and click on Assorted Range Rover Links, then scroll down and click on Solihull in Moab. I think you will get a kick out of this site.

Good luck on the sale of your Speedy!

Jim,
Where did you see the 1958 Series I ? I owned one and sold it off a few years ago to a fellow in Pittsburg. My buddy had one a year older and his went to mid Pa somewhere. Not many of those around.......wonder if it could have been mine.

I have had a 1958 Ser. I 88", a 1967 Ser. IIa 109, a 1963 Ser. IIa and a 1973 Military Lightweight. Looking at a 1969 IIa now.

Hey Tony!

Any bites on your Speedy? Hope that goes well for you.

The '58 Series I mentioned is at a friend's independent Rover Shop, The Rover Doctor, in SoCal. His website is www.RoverDoctor.com.

I don't think he's updated his site yet with pictures of it. He got it about 5 years ago from the original owner who lived in Victorville Ca (high desert in SoCal). Hopefully I can talk him into selling it to me.

I'm building a 4.6 to put in my '91 Classic along with some other typical upgrades. I like your list of RRs. If it's not too much trouble maybe you can e-mail me some pics of your Series'. Have you had a chance to check out that jpurnell website?

Ricardo, just the mention of Daktari makes me want to go out to the dunes at Pismo Beach here in California central coast. Good call!

Well, 109 watchers and it ended at $7600. I guess that tells you what a decent driver is really worth .

I suppose I should have been one of those eBay guys with the three line description, said the car is perfect and got $13,500!

I do have a local guy that has been out to see her and needs a week or so to make a deal so maybe she still found a home.

Tony
