I'm new to this speedster/roadster deal. I'm setting my sights on one of these cars as a reward to myself when I finally finish my education.
My question is this: Looking at the IM website, I saw a description where they talk about a "coach" option. It seems that you can have the car built and delivered without the drivetrain. Then, have your own custom drivetrain installed at your leisure. As a VW enthusiast, this appeals to me as I know of a wide range of options with which these cars could potentially be powered (other than the 1600 & 2110 that IM offers). Has anyone built their car in this fashion?
