Coco Mats

Unsolicited testamonial. Having Coco mats in all of my cars, the ones in my daily driver (2008 Miata) faded quite a bit in about three years. I contacted them and sent pictures, they offered to send me a new set even though it had been over a year. Highly recommended.

Nice post! but if would like a set of coco mats for my speedster will they fit? Tell them I have a Speedster?

James, Cocomats.com has patterns for most Speedsters...contact them, they're quite responsive.

Yes they will fit. I have them in my VS Speedster and JPS Coupe. He has patterns for all popular makes. For my Coupe he provided me with a pattern because John at JPS places a security switch on the passengers side. I made an outline on the pattern and sent it back, the mats fit perfectly.

I saw a set on my visit to Special Editions last month, they are nice and I
will be ordering a set for my car soon. Don't tell my car, they'll be a Christmas present.

Actually that is an old picture. I have since removed the pedals when I put in the new pedal cluster. They look good but aren't as comfortable as the stock rubber covers. They can be had for about $10 from folks like cip1. They're called "billet" but are actually rather crudely cast aluminum. Still, every once in a while I get the itch to put them back on the new pedals.

Lane, do these mats (with their rubber backing) stay in place better than the "stock" carpet mats that come with the Beck? Also, is the cutout for the pedals adequate as they come from Cocomats, or is there some special consideration needed for that area?

Yeah, they don't move around at all. You can get hem from Carey, or you can go directly to the manufacturer and tell them to use the Beck pattern.

Carey had a set there (with someone else's name on them) upon my visit last month. They confirmed my convictions of their quality. I had already been in touch with Cocomats.com before that and learned of their patterns.

Had them in my previous Beck. They were fantastic. I need a set for my new car!

Thought I would let everyone know that Cocomat is offering this new color starting in Jan 2012. I have a sample and it is just perfect for my application. Can be done in Dark Brown Binding or Tan with a Brown Heal Pad.
