I just got mine from cocomats about a month ago. They actually make them for Vintage. The prices are pretty much the same, $150, but this includes the shipping from cocomats. I don't know how much Kirk charges for shipping. The only thing is I had to wait about 6 weeks. If you want them right away, you should call Vintage and see if they have them in stock. If they don't they'll have to order them from cocomats so you might as well go straight to the source and save a few $$$ on shipping.
Stupid question: do you just send those guys at the Coco Mat place dimensions and a pattern preference?
They send them to you when they're done and that's that? How do you guys think they'd hold up to diamond plate, 'cuz this E-Z Bake oven treatment is getting to be a bit much.
Cory,

Roger that last -- these mats are super-duty. You cut a paper pattern for what you want, send it in, and they build to suit. Easy-peasy, but not all that cheap. They have a thick rubber bottom w/ little nubs -- designed to sit into underlying carpet, I'd suppose, but they should be just fine on diamond plate. They are supposed to be damn near weather proof, but I do not think they consider blatant open air, all weather exposure. But maybe. The cocoa fiber is supposed to bear up to all sorts of abuse. If you ship rain by the inch, they are going to want to be dried out. One caveat: they are thick, so your floor level is going to go up, probably over 1/2 inch. Need to think about that, and if would be a problem. Likely the mats will be cooler in summer, warmer in winter and offer some road noise reduction -- but in the Hoopty, what does all of that really mean? Probably not too much, as there are plenty of other noise/air/heat leaks everywhere else :-).
